This project addresses the existing disconnect between public policies and the practical application in the fields of radio, education, and interculturality in Latin America, despite the legal framework demanding changes in radio production routines. It seeks to overcome the contradiction in communication for development by promoting radio as a medium for social change, citizen participation, and critical message reception. Edu-communication is established as an essential articulating axis, especially given digital convergences, where audiences evolve into prosumers interacting with both traditional and new media formats. Qualitative research, employing techniques such as semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and life histories, is utilized to holistically analyze these scenarios. The ultimate goal is to facilitate the integration of radio content that promotes interculturality as a process of dialogue and inclusive coexistence among cultures, leveraging the possibilities offered by Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for community broadcasters.

Goal:
To generate an analysis that enables the articulation of radio, intercultural, community, and edu-communicative content through the application of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary communication approaches.

Research lines:
Communication and interculturality
