Project Details

Description

This project addresses the need to modernize the traditional teaching of basic sciences in higher education, which often fails to leverage current technologies and the historical context of scientific theories. The main goal is to create an innovative educational ecosystem that moves beyond purely exercise-solving approaches by integrating the crucial historical foundation for deep understanding. The proposed solution focuses on developing tools based on multimedia content, playful applications, and the strategic use of ICTs. Methodologically, the project will be structured under an Agile model, dividing the work into iterative phases (sprints). This methodology allows for the necessary flexibility to continuously adjust the product, ensuring that each cycle delivers usable functionality. The Agile approach will facilitate the adaptation of the ecosystem to end-user expectations, guaranteeing a final product aligned with modern pedagogical needs and promoting greater student interest and engagement.

Goal:
To develop an ecosystem of educational tools that integrate multimedia content, playful applications, the history of science, and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to enhance the learning of basic sciences for university students.

Research lines:
Computer systems and artificial intelligence
