Justification These environments are conducive to the growth of microorganisms, which have the ability to survive in environments in which there is a presence of bile acids, which can be evaluated in their ability to biotransform cholic and chenodeoxycholic acids into ursodeoxycholic acid; or also act on the by-products generated and that are waste in the production process of ursodeoxycholic acid, such as Hyodeoxycholic acid and Deoxycholic acid obtained from suine and bovine bile, respectively.
