International Interdisciplinary Congress of Social Sciences (CIICIS – 2026)

The International Interdisciplinary Congress of Social Sciences (CIICIS 2026) emerges as a response to the complex reconfiguration of individual and collective identities in the face of current climate, political, digital, and social crises. Organized by the Salesian Polytechnic University, the event addresses how artificial intelligence, algorithms, and digital platforms transform governance, social inclusion, and the perception of the subject in liquid modernity. The project proposes an interdisciplinary dialogue space that articulates sociology, communication, education, and multimedia design. Through conferences, workshops, and roundtables, it seeks to diagnose the challenges of the digital age and propose sustainable and fair alternatives. The initiative focuses on making visible the identity tensions of vulnerable populations and promoting critical digital citizenship. As a result, the project expects to create a map of emerging identities and publish research indexed in Scopus. The congress seeks not only academic exchange but also knowledge transfer for the design of inclusive public policies and the strengthening of international cooperation networks, reaffirming the institution's commitment to social transformation and the defense of human rights.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To foster critical reflection and interdisciplinary academic production regarding the reconfiguration of identities in the context of global crises and technological advancement.
