Interactive Playful Microworlds as Therapeutic Support Tools for Children Under Risk Situations (MICROLUDI V2)

This project addresses the lack of effective proposals for the diagnosis, prevention, and intervention of at-risk children in Ecuador, who face high rates of physical and psychological abuse and family separation. The proposed solution is the development of "Interactive Playful Micro-worlds as Therapeutic Support Tools." This system aims to be a real and freely accessible option, available via mobile, desktop, and web devices. Utilizing playfulness, the tool will act as a media element allowing the child to process their reality and complex emotions in their own language. It will serve as valuable input for early diagnosis and therapeutic intervention, facilitating dialogue among all stakeholders (parents, teachers, therapists). Unlike commercial solutions, this didactic and interactive game will be provided free of charge to educational centers, families, and therapy centers, focusing purely on service and support for vulnerable children.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To develop and implement an IT-based support system for the diagnosis and intervention of at-risk children, utilizing intelligent techniques based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
