Description
This project addresses the critical need for adequate services in rehabilitation and mental health care for children with disabilities and communication disorders, a globally vulnerable population. Given the rising numbers of children in institutional care and those whose language capabilities are affected by disabilities, the goal is to create an ecosystem of intelligent tools. This system aims to facilitate accurate diagnosis and provide effective support for educational intervention, enabling these children to express their needs and emotions. The development follows the Waterfall methodology, a sequential approach encompassing exhaustive stakeholder requirements analysis, modular system design, program design (including tool and algorithm selection), prototyping-based coding, rigorous testing for user validation and certification, and finally, deployment and continuous software maintenance.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To develop an ecosystem of intelligent tools designed to support the diagnosis and educational intervention for children presenting disabilities, communication disorders, and other associated conditions.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Computer systems and artificial intelligence
