Innovation and Transparency in the Evaluation of Treatment Efficacy and Publication of Public Information in Ecuadorian Municipalities

This project addresses the lack of transparency and limited access to public information in Ecuadorian municipalities, factors that hinder accountability and public trust. Using the INFOPARTICIPA methodology, the research will evaluate compliance with the Organic Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information (LOTAIP) through a mixed-methods analysis of websites, interviews, and nationwide surveys. The proposed solution includes the design of a transparency web platform that publishes evaluation results in open formats, the use of artificial intelligence for data processing, and the creation of interactive dashboards to facilitate citizen understanding. Additionally, training mechanisms for public officials and continuous monitoring strategies will be implemented. Expected outcomes include the identification of effective practices, improvements in open data publication, and the strengthening of citizen oversight. The project seeks to consolidate a culture of government openness, providing concrete tools for civil society to exercise their right to information and promoting more transparent and responsible public policies within the Ecuadorian context.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>Evaluate the transparency of municipal websites in Ecuador using the INFOPARTICIPA methodology to identify challenges and propose technological solutions that improve access to public information.
