This project addresses the need to substitute Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) with efficient electrical systems in the Ecuadorian residential sector, driven by high dependence on LPG imports and associated significant state subsidies. The main objective is the design and experimental validation of a magnetic induction water heater prototype. The methodology is structured in four phases: an exhaustive literature review focusing on IEEE standards for magnetic induction, development of a software control methodology and search for efficient designs, design and physical construction of the prototype including power and control stages, and finally, experimental validation of the hardware and software. Tests will include temperature measurements and Harmonic Distortion analysis, implementing the system on a 220V electrical grid. Project success will contribute to energy efficiency and the reduction of national foreign exchange outflow.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To design and execute comprehensive tests on a Magnetic Induction Water Heater prototype to validate its functionality and efficiency.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Optimization and innovation of energy and renewable energies
