Impact of Reason and Faith Subjects on the Personal Formation Processes of UPS Quito Campus Students

This project focuses on evaluating the formative impact of the subjects belonging to the Reason and Faith Area (ARF) within the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS). The need for this research arises from various didactic complications and negative or biased perceptions from students, who often view these courses as merely doctrinal or religious, coupled with a lack of clear statistical studies on their comprehensive contribution. Historically, UPS has integrated human formation since its inception, formalizing it within the ARF starting in 2008. The methodology employed will be mixed, combining theoretical, exploratory, qualitative, and quantitative research. The main approach is to apply rigorous research instruments to quantify and qualify the influence of these subjects on the personal and professional development of graduates, thereby seeking to establish their academic positioning and foster interdisciplinary dialogue regarding their curricular value.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To analyze the formative impact of the Reason and Faith Area (ARF) subjects on the students of the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) by applying research instruments.
