Project Details

Description

This research project aims to systematize and evaluate the implementation of 'Integrative Chairs' and 'Pre-professional Internships' in the Intercultural Bilingual Education (EIB) degree at the Salesian Polytechnic University, under the 2018-2023 curriculum redesign. Given the curricular changes and the transition to online learning, there is a need to analyze whether these interdisciplinary subjects have effectively fulfilled their purpose of strengthening the theoretical, didactic, and methodological training of future teachers. The methodology includes an exhaustive documentary search in institutional repositories, the analysis of integrative projects and internship reports, and the conduct of focus groups with students from various provinces. This mixed-methods approach will allow for the identification of strengths and weaknesses in the current curriculum design. The expected results include the generation of empirical evidence to serve as a basis for redefining curricular projects in teacher training programs. The project's impact focuses on improving educational quality, providing valuable input for academic decision-making, and disseminating findings in indexed journals and national and international scientific events.

Goal:
To systematize the work carried out in the Integrative Chair and Pre-professional Internship subjects of the Intercultural Bilingual Education degree during the 2018-2023 redesign curriculum.
