This research project, titled 'Financial, Control, and Management Situation of Organizations (SFCGO)', addresses the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Ecuadorian business landscape. Given the vulnerability of SMEs and the complexity of the economic environment, the study seeks to diagnose the financial health of organizations between 2017 and 2022. Using a mixed-methods approach and a longitudinal design, the research examines how companies adapted their strategies to survive and grow in the face of market restrictions and changes.
The research team, composed of faculty and students from the Salesian Polytechnic University, employs analytical, historical, and logical methods to process data from the Superintendency of Companies, Securities, and Insurance. The purpose is to generate theoretical and practical knowledge that strengthens university teaching and serves as input for public policy formulation. Expected results include the publication of scientific articles and the creation of diagnostic models that allow companies to make informed decisions, promoting sustainability and resilience in the national productive sector.

Goal:
Analyze the financial situation of companies in Ecuador during the COVID-19 pandemic context using standardized techniques.
