Description

Faced with increasing food demand and the consequent loss of fertility and chemical contamination in the 19% of Ecuadorian territory dedicated to agriculture, there is a need to implement advanced crop management techniques. This project addresses the problem of declining soil quality and agrochemical resistance by applying technological tools. The main focus is to develop parameterized models based on precision agriculture and geospatial data obtained through the use of drones. The objective is to generate digital maps that allow for the early identification of soil contamination and diseases. This advanced monitoring capability facilitates informed decision-making, promoting more efficient and sustainable agricultural practices to improve productivity and the quality of agricultural products.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To generate parameterized models using precision agriculture and geospatial technologies to determine the potential presence of soil contamination and diseases through the application of drones.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Technologies applied to natural resources
