Description
General objective
Develop a non-invasive method for determining the efficiency of three-phase induction motors considering the effects of voltage imbalance and harmonic distortion present in electrical systems at an industrial level.
Justification
high efficiency for electric motors. Manufacturers have developed a new generation of electric motors with nominal efficiencies higher than those currently installed, which has increased the need for techniques to evaluate the efficiency of electric machines in industrial environments, in order to be able to identify the potential electrical energy savings that a plant can achieve in the event of replacing at least a percentage of the installed motors.
