Description

This project focuses on the creation and consolidation of the Ibero-American Observatory of SMEs (MIPYME), driven by networks such as MOTIVA, REUNE–ASCUN, RLIE of CLADEA, and FAEDPYME. Its fundamental purpose is to provide updated information on business strategies to support economic and strategic decision-making for SMEs nationally and internationally. The initiative aims to maintain an active collaboration space for joint studies, teaching, research, and mutual advisory services. A key component is promoting the relationship between academia, the business sector, and public administration, ensuring the applicability of research and knowledge transfer. Within this Observatory framework, the specific study "Digitalization and Sustainable Development of SMEs in Ibero-America" is being promoted, which includes conducting a survey by the Salesian Polytechnic University of Ecuador. The results will be digitally shared to serve as a tool for strategic planning and support for public policies. Specific objectives include fostering continuous research, acting as a channel for dialogue on SME challenges, developing reports and action proposals, and establishing a documentation center utilizing databases to supply statistical information.

Goal:
The main objective of the project is to establish the Ibero-American Observatory of SMEs (MIPYME) to supply continuous information on company strategies and expectations, facilitating economic and strategic decision-making.
