Description
This project addresses the growing problem of academic plagiarism, which is considered unethical conduct and, in many jurisdictions, a crime against intellectual property rights, undermining institutional and professional credibility. Given the evolution of plagiarism methods, there is a critical need to advance current textual verification tools. The main objective is to design and implement a comprehensive plagiarism detection system. The solution will be developed using an evolutionary systems development methodology, structured across key phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, Testing, and Implementation. This methodological approach allows for flexibility in incorporating continuous research findings (especially during the Analysis phase) and testing new detection techniques either in parallel or sequentially.
