Description
This project focuses on the comparative evaluation of control algorithms, both classical and modern, with the primary goal of improving performance in industrial mechatronic platforms. The methodology begins with the rigorous acquisition of mathematical models for the platforms using identification techniques specific to each system. Theoretically, the Analysis-Synthesis method will be employed to decompose and understand the overall system characteristics. Experimentally, the approach will rely on observing the temporal behavior of the systems in response to the applied algorithms, complemented by precise measurement of numerical data and direct experimentation to quantify performance. This work aims to optimize controller implementation by contrasting traditional approaches with advanced methods, aligning with current trends in Ecuador that integrate modern controllers, such as fuzzy logic, into industrial PLCs.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To evaluate and compare the performance of classical and modern control algorithms applied to industrial mechatronic systems.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Control engineering and automation technologies
