Development and Implementation of a Multiuser and Multicompany Platform for the Management, Administration, and Analysis of Data from Internet Service Provider (ISP) End Devices, Using the TR-069 Protocol

Project Details

Description

This project, part of the 'Fondo 1 a 1' program between the Salesian Polytechnic University and MARVICNET CIA. LTDA., aims to address the lack of terminal device management systems in small and medium-sized ISPs in Ecuador, thereby improving Quality of Service (QoS) and operational efficiency. The proposed solution involves the development and implementation of a Multi-user and Multi-company Platform for the remote management of network devices (routers, modems) using the TR-069 protocol. This platform will enable centralized configuration, statistics monitoring, firmware updates, and alarm management, significantly reducing operational costs associated with on-site technical visits. Furthermore, a Mobile Application will be developed to allow end-users to manage their home network security, such as changing credentials and checking connected devices. The development methodology chosen is Scrum, ensuring incremental deliveries and adaptability. The initial Minimum Viable Product (MVP) will be deployed for MARVICNET CIA. LTDA., with plans for subsequent commercialization to other ISPs, positioning it as an innovative and scalable solution for the telecommunications sector.

Goal:
The main objective of the project is to develop and implement a Multi-user and Multi-company Platform for the management, administration, and data analysis of end-user devices belonging to Internet Service Providers (ISPs), utilizing the TR-069 protocol.

Research lines:
Educational entertainment (Edutainment)
