Design of a Research Training Methodology for New University Professors and Administrative Staff (FINVE+P)

Project Details

Description

This research project aims to design a training methodology in research for novice university professors and administrative staff. The project seeks to address the challenges faced by new researchers, such as time constraints and the complexity of using ICT tools in the research process. The methodology will define work phases and incorporate technologies to reduce the time required for research proposals. The project's objectives include socializing a suitable training methodology, evaluating the results achieved, and ultimately increasing the number of high-impact publications from the university's Guayaquil campus.

Goals:
Determine a training model in the research process for novice professors or staff through the development of a set of short-term methodological phases and the use of ICT tools.
Socialize to professors or novice staff a training methodology appropriate for research training through an ad hoc model with techno-pedagogical support that allows them to produce an article.
Evaluate the results achieved by professors or novice staff through a descriptive analysis of the results developed by the ad hoc methodological design of those research products presented during the term of this proposal.
