Description
This project addresses the modernization of the lighting system at the South Campus of the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) through the implementation of high-efficiency luminaires and the EXEDRA remote management platform. Faced with the need to improve security and reduce environmental impact, the proposal integrates real-time monitoring technologies that allow for dynamic energy consumption management.
The applied methodology includes the design of an intelligent network, the installation of robust equipment, and the creation of a technical database. This approach not only seeks an estimated 5% to 20% reduction in energy consumption but also aims to revitalize the use of university spaces during nighttime hours, improving the perception of safety for students and staff.
As a result, the project positions UPS as a benchmark in intelligent and sustainable infrastructure, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 7, 11, and 16).
