Description
This project, driven by the Telecommunications Club of the Salesian Polytechnic University, addresses the inefficiency and discomfort caused by the manual management of air conditioning (A/C) systems in the classrooms of the Centenario campus. Exclusive handling by custodial staff results in inappropriate temperatures due to varying class occupancy, leading to discomfort and loss of valuable instruction time when interruptions are required to request adjustments. The proposed solution aims to automate temperature regulation to ensure an optimal and constant thermal environment, regardless of attendance. The methodology includes clearly defining the problem, research to identify problematic classrooms, and collaborative planning within the club for the design, assembly, and maintenance of the regulation equipment. The expected impact is a significant improvement in the student and faculty environment, avoiding distractions and sanctions for unauthorized equipment tampering.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>The main objective of the project is to develop and implement an automated temperature regulation system for the air conditioners in the classrooms of the Centenario campus at the Salesian Polytechnic University, eliminating the dependency on manual intervention by custodians and improving student thermal comfort.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Telecommunications networks and their applications
