Project Details

Description

This project focused on establishing and launching the online radio station for the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana (UPS) Guayaquil campus, designed to enhance the practical training of social communication students. The radio serves as a multifunctional medium to disseminate educational, scientific, informational, dialogue, and entertainment content to the entire university community. The initiative aims not only to broadcast relevant information but also to encourage students to exploit their creative potential through the conception and production of new programs. For the management and execution of this project, the Critical Chain Method (CCM) was implemented, an advanced methodology for complex project management. CCM was chosen for its ability to simplify tracking and control, facilitating project prioritization and effective protection through the strategic use of time buffers (project, feeding, and resource buffers) placed at critical points defined by activities that determine the maximum project duration. This methodological approach ensures efficiency and adherence to established timelines.

Goal:
The main objective of the project was the creation and inauguration of the UPS Guayaquil campus online radio station to provide social communication students with a platform that fosters their comprehensive training, allowing them to create and innovate practical and professional content.

Research lines:
Telecommunications networks and their applications
