This research project addresses the existing gap in data science adoption within companies and educational institutions in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Despite the increasing generation of data, many organizations lack analytical frameworks to transform this information into strategic knowledge. The study employs a mixed-methodological approach, combining quantitative techniques (surveys, inferential statistics, predictive models) and qualitative methods (interviews, content analysis) to evaluate how descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics influence decision-making. The core problem lies in the technological, organizational, and training barriers that limit data utilization. Using tools such as SPSS, ATLAS.ti, and QuestionPro, the project aims to identify patterns and correlations to propose evidence-based management models. Expected outcomes include generating executive reports for participating organizations, publishing scientific articles in high-impact journals, and strengthening a data-driven organizational culture, thereby contributing to digital transformation and performance improvement in both the commercial and academic sectors.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>Analyze the relationship between the integration of data science methodologies and the quality of strategic decision-making in companies and educational institutions in Guayaquil, Ecuador.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Data science
