This project addresses the need to enhance Home Management within the context of Smart Grid Demand Response. The primary goal is to develop a system utilizing open-source hardware and software to enable intelligent energy consumption monitoring. The system aims to overcome the limitations of traditional sensor approaches, such as instability and uncertainty, by integrating advanced metering devices and robust communication networks. The proposal involves utilizing smart sensors and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) to gather detailed data on appliance usage. The solution requires implementing more sophisticated, intelligent software connected to smart outlets and Smart Meters to label and analyze individual consumption. The methodology encompasses historical, inductive, and deductive research, culminating in an experimental phase to derive algorithms based on the acquisition and management of real demand data, ultimately seeking a more efficient and robust management of electrical load.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To design a telecommunications and monitoring system capable of characterizing the energy consumption of household appliances, with the primary goal of enabling effective management of electrical power demand.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>Planning and management of electrical systems
