Barras Bravas in South America an Approach to their Cultural and Organizational Practices

Project Details

Description

General objective Demonstrate how the social organizations known as "Barras Bravas" are built from complex cultural systems deeply rooted in urbanity through which they allow the existence and survival of hundreds of thousands of people in Latin America. Justification Strong levels of mobilization and action are observed under this same dynamic that manages to influence various aspects of current human society. They are massive and exuberant forms of urban identity, which manage to define and unleash the emotions of a large part of the population and evidenced more strongly in young people and adolescents.
