Description
General objective
Develop and implement an automatic system that recognizes through artificial vision the cards on the table and in a player's hand.
This system is intended to assist blind Forty players by informing them of the cards in play via audio.
Justification
In the city of Quito, and in the country in general, board games with cards are very popular leisure activities practiced by people of all ages. For a blind person, participating in these games is impossible, therefore, developing a card recognition algorithm would enable the future creation of a device to support blind people in card games, thus supporting the incursion of those people in society.
