Project Details

Description

This project focuses on evaluating the job satisfaction level of the faculty members at the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) Cuenca campus, covering the 2013-2014 period. The primary goal is to correlate various variables to identify the factors influencing faculty satisfaction, with the ultimate aim of optimizing their performance and consequently ensuring the quality of education provided. The underlying context is the growing need for educational institutions to adopt University Social Responsibility (USR) programs in response to global social and economic demands. It is recognized that faculty members are a fundamental stakeholder group for meeting quality standards established by regulatory bodies such as the LOES. The methodology employs a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection will be conducted through surveys, interviews, and direct observation, designing specific instruments aligned with the stated objectives to obtain robust information regarding faculty perception.

Goal:
To determine the degree of job satisfaction among faculty members at UPS Cuenca during the 2013-2014 period by analyzing the correlation between relevant variables to improve their performance and ensure educational quality.

Research lines:
Social responsibility, redistribution of wealth and quality of life
