This research project focuses on optimizing animal welfare during surgical interventions by addressing the need to adapt protocols to Ecuador's specific environmental conditions. The core problem is the lack of standardized protocols that account for climatic factors (temperature, humidity) and orographic variations (altitude). The proposed solution involves the systematic testing of a wide range of anesthetics, treatments, and surgical methods. The goal is to determine the most suitable combinations for each patient profile (species, weight, age) and geographical setting. This research will benefit pets undergoing surgery in Gualaceo and Pedernales, their owners through free services, and senior students who will gain practical knowledge in anesthesiology and advanced techniques such as laparoscopy. The ultimate aim is to establish precise guidelines for safe and effective interventions across diverse contexts.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>To investigate and evaluate the efficacy of different anesthetics, treatments, and surgical techniques under varying climatic (temperature and humidity) and orographic (altitude) conditions to ensure animal welfare during pre-, intra-, and post-operative procedures.<br/><br/><b>Research lines</b>: <br/>animal health
