Analysis and Utilization of Technological Tools to Support the English Language Teaching-Learning Process

This research project, developed by the Language Institute of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana (UPS) in Quito, addresses the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in English language teaching. Faced with current educational challenges, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the study seeks to transform traditional methods through the use of virtual classrooms and interactive digital exercises. The core problem lies in the need to adapt teaching to current digital standards, fostering critical thinking and student autonomy. The methodology is descriptive and experimental, analyzing the state of the art and applying technological tools in virtual environments to strengthen language skills. Expected results include the publication of three indexed scientific articles and the creation of validated didactic material. The project's impact extends to improving educational quality, optimizing institutional resources by reducing paper and software usage, and the professional development of faculty, ensuring a more resilient, inclusive, and effective learning environment for the university community.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>Conduct a study on the use of technological tools to support the English language teaching-learning process.
