This project focused on developing a comprehensive Information System, stemming from an agreement signed in 2015 with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Aquaculture, and Fisheries of Ecuador, aimed at coordinating Commercialization Networks. The primary goal was to create a platform for the systematic registration of participants involved in alternative product commercialization circuits, known as Cialco. The adopted solution, following a standard Systems Development methodology, sought not only the efficient capture of participant data but also the enablement of advanced analytical capabilities. Specifically, the collected information is intended to feed Data Mining processes, allowing for the extraction of valuable patterns and insights. Furthermore, a geographical component was integrated for the visual and spatial presentation of the data, enhancing the understanding and decision-making regarding these alternative commercialization networks.

Goal:
To establish a robust information system for registering participants in alternative commercialization circuits (Cialco). This system must facilitate subsequent application of Data Mining processes and the geographical visualization of the registered information.

Research lines:
Data science and simulation
