Active Strategies in Teacher Training: Highlighted Experiences and Results (EDUCERE)

The EDUCERE project, developed by the GIEDIC group at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, addresses the need to transform teacher training in the face of the global educational crisis and post-pandemic challenges. The study identifies that the traditional pedagogical model limits active learning, thus proposing the implementation of methodologies based on constructivism, critical pedagogy, and emerging pedagogies. The research uses a mixed approach, combining qualitative and documentary methods to substantiate and design active strategies. Through participatory action research, students and teachers collaborate to create learning environments that foster pedagogical leadership and academic excellence. Results include the publication of books, indexed scientific articles, and conference papers, as well as the creation of learning objects (ORA). The project's impact is reflected in the improvement of educational quality, the strengthening of social and environmental awareness, and the recognition of cultural diversity in the training process of future educators.<br/><br/><b>Goal</b>: <br/>Analyze the importance of implementing active strategies in the teacher training of Early Childhood and Basic Education students.
