This project aims to investigate the profiles of individuals who have committed sexual offenses, contributing to the development of prevention strategies. It will identify psychopathologies related to these behaviors, describe factors associated with unlawful conduct in perpetrators within Ecuadorian prisons, and identify key manifestations in cases of violence and sexual offenses. The study employs a case study design, using bibliographic analysis and non-participant observation, with data collected from forensic psychological reports. The findings are expected to contribute to scientific knowledge, inform public policies, and improve safety decisions by providing relevant data on the psychological profiles of both offenders and victims in the Ecuadorian context.

Goals:
Investigate the profiles of people who have committed crimes of a sexual nature to contribute to the formulation of prevention strategies in society.
Identify the main psychopathologies related to the appearance of behaviors associated with crimes of a sexual nature.
Describe the main factors that are associated with unlawful conduct in people who have committed crimes that violate sexual freedom in prisons in Ecuador.
Identify the main manifestations linked to cases of violence and crimes against sexual freedom in perpetrators.
