Research Interests
This body of work investigates the transformative role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in education, governance, and social systems, with a unifying focus on how intelligent tools, data-driven methods, and immersive technologies can enhance learning, inclusion, and decision-making. Across higher education and K-12 contexts, the research explores AI-enabled personalized learning, ethical data handling, and policy implications; it assesses AI-assisted detection of social phenomena such as bullying and the design of responsible AI-aided interventions. A dedicated line of inquiry examines AR/VR-based pedagogies and human–computer interaction to improve conceptual understanding and accessibility for diverse learners, including those with motor disabilities. In parallel, the work addresses evaluation methodologies for AI in education, the deployment of virtual assistants for learning personalization, and the broader implications of AI usage on assessment, privacy, and governance. Finally, the studies analyze the role of social media analytics in crisis communication and public opinion, highlighting news fragmentation and the influence of information ecosystems. This integrated approach advances practical architectures, measurement frameworks, and ethical considerations to promote social impact, equity, and effective learning outcomes through technology.
