The research focuses on the intersection of digital technology and cultural heritage preservation, emphasizing the development of innovative tools to foster emotional and educational connections with historical sites. By utilizing methodologies such as User Experience Design (UXD), the work explores how virtual reality, mixed reality, and serious games can enhance the interpretation of archaeological assets, particularly in the Ecuadorian context. A significant portion of this research involves the rigorous evaluation of these digital products through frameworks like the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to ensure they are effective for learning and engagement.
