Research Interests

Recent research:
This body of work advances wireless communications, RF energy harvesting, education, and intelligent systems through a cohesive program of antenna design, measurement, and application-driven innovations. A clear throughline is the engineering-driven refinement of patch and ultra-wideband antennas for terrestrial and wearable contexts, achieving highly suppressed S11 values (often below −50 dB) and broad or multi-band operation via ground-plane modifications, slots, notches, and innovative geometries. Complementing this, the researcher develops precise dielectric/permittivity measurement approaches that combine ring resonators with far-field measurements to improve accuracy across 2–8 GHz, addressing limitations of traditional methods. The portfolio also integrates advanced optimization and AI methods (swarm intelligence, Harris Hawks, Slime Mould, Metaheuristics, AR/VR-based teaching tools) to optimize antenna performance, enhance educational practices, and enable real-time monitoring and interaction in industrial contexts. Notably, several works demonstrate multidisciplinary impact: from medical imaging and image acquisition with microstrip antennas to AR-enabled process monitoring, robotics-assisted therapy for childhood behavioral disorders, and climate-smart agricultural planning using satellite-era climate diagnostics. Overall, the research informs both practical engineering of high-performance antennas and the deployment of intelligent, data-driven, and immersive tools to support education, health, industry, and agriculture, signaling a robust contribution to wireless technology and its broad societal applications.
