Research Interests
This body of work advances engineering practice across multiple domains by integrating design, simulation, and empirical validation to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. The research combines computer-aided design (SolidWorks) with finite element analysis (ANSYS) to optimize structural components such as electric go-kart chassis, yielding enhanced strength and vibration reduction for safer, more competitive performance. It advances automated material handling and measurement through a tomato-size-and-weight classification machine, addressing labor intensity, ergonomics, and economic feasibility in greenhouse farming. Hydrodynamics and pump efficiency are explored via two-dimensional ANSYS Fluent simulations to show that increasing impulse valves can markedly boost hydraulic ram pump efficiency. A precision shaft alignment device, produced by 3D resin printing and equipped with proximity sensors and a universal web interface, demonstrates improved assembly accuracy and real-time monitoring across platforms. Additional work designs a high-temperature drying chamber for tiles, bricks, and pine wood to leverage waste heat from artisan kilns, enabling complete combustion and temperatures up to 1000 °C. In lactose grinding, process optimization reduces particle size and grinding time, delivering material and energy savings. Finally, a cost-effective, multi-agent remote sensing framework combines field testing, UAV orthomosaics, and satellite imagery to monitor high Andean wetlands, providing scalable tools for environmental management under harsh conditions. Overall, the research emphasizes practical, validated solutions bridging design, manufacturing, automation, environmental sustainability, and decision support to enhance safety, productivity, and resource stewardship.
