The research focuses on advancing inclusive education by addressing the diverse needs of students within higher education and pastoral contexts. A central theme is the implementation and evaluation of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a pedagogical framework to remove barriers and promote equitable participation. The work explores the intersection of institutional policy, social responsibility, and the practical application of inclusive strategies, ranging from classroom adjustments for students with disabilities—including those with sensory impairments or ADHD—to the systematization of community-linked projects that drive social transformation. Furthermore, the research examines the challenges posed by global crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the need for collaborative teacher practices, humanization in education, and the sustainability of inclusive cultures. By integrating action research and empirical data, these studies provide a comprehensive guide for educators and administrators to foster environments that value diversity and uphold the rights of all learners.
