The body of work presented focuses on the critical analysis of sexual harassment within Ecuadorian higher education, examining its prevalence, psychosocial impacts, and the institutional responses to it. Through both quantitative psychometric validation and qualitative autoethnographic inquiry, the research highlights how sexual harassment functions as a mechanism of patriarchal power and gendered domination. A central objective is to move beyond punitive or reductionist frameworks by advocating for feminist and decolonial epistemologies that prioritize psychosocial accompaniment and collective political action. Furthermore, the research explores the intersection of art and psychology, utilizing creative processes and performance as tools for emotional healing and the reframing of survivor subjectivity. Finally, the work addresses broader systemic issues, including the gender gap in STEM, the necessity of integrating critical feminist approaches into psychological education, and the importance of science diplomacy in aligning academic policy with sustainable development goals.
