Research Interests
The author's body of work centers on computational and experimental investigations of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and energy systems, with a strong emphasis on CFD modeling (notably ANSYS Fluent) to analyze forced convection, boiling, condensation, and radiation in electronic cooling, refrigeration, solar-assisted heating, and desalination contexts. Across publications, methodologies combine numerical simulations with semi-empirical correlations, turbulence models (k-epsilon RNG, RNG variants), and validation against experimental data. The work demonstrates impact in optimizing heat exchanger configurations (fins, helical/spiral geometries, baffles), evaluating nanofluid and nanoparticle additives (CuO in refrigerants and oils) to modify thermophysical properties and heat transfer coefficients, and applying machine learning to predict environmental wave parameters for maritime safety. Collectively, the research advances design guidelines for efficient thermal management in electronics, refrigeration, HVAC, solar-assisted systems, and offshore operations, while also contributing standards-oriented measurement practice and validation benchmarks for CFD studies. The integrated narrative highlights a progression from fundamental heat transfer analysis to applied optimization and data-driven forecasting within energy and environmental contexts, underscoring practical implications for performance, safety, and sustainability.
