Research Interests

Recent research:
The author conducts comprehensive narrative reviews and retrospective analyses across dental and maxillofacial health, examining how anatomical structures, posture, and infections influence clinical outcomes. The work highlights how inferior alveolar nerve anatomy informs injury risk during dental procedures, how craniocervical posture affects temporomandibular joint disorders and occlusion, and how periodontal disease, fluorosis, malocclusion, and pulp pathology distribute across age and sex. Further investigations synthesize the implications of odontogenic infections for serious systemic conditions such as bacterial endocarditis and intracranial focal infections, alongside the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance in dentistry. Across studies, the emphasis is on identifying prevalence, risk factors, and multidisciplinary management strategies to reduce complications and improve dental public health outcomes. The methodologies are predominantly narrative reviews and cross-sectional or retrospective observational studies, drawing from multiple databases to collate evidence up to 2024–2023. The impact lies in consolidating clinical guidance on prevention, early detection, and integrated care pathways in dental medicine and public health contexts.
