Research Interests

Recent research:
The published works collectively illuminate a science of education and theology anchored in Salesian pedagogy, youth formation, and ethical-technological reflection. Across education-focused pieces, the author analyzes how youth associativity and the Salesian Youth Movement can drive socio-educational transformation within post-pandemic Latin American contexts, emphasizing collaboration, digitization, and inclusive pedagogies to address rising inequality and dropout trends. The research also charts the epistemological shift from youth-based associations to formal university associations, highlighting governance, identity, and sociocultural alignment with contemporary youth. Complementing this, the interdisciplinary volume on transhumanism probes the ethical, philosophical, and theological implications of technoscience—framing transhumanist potentials and risks within a rigorous reflective method to guide responsible, axiologically grounded development. Together, these works advance a holistic view of education, ethics, and technology within the Salesian intellectual tradition, advocating dialog between pedagogy, faith, and responsible innovation to serve vulnerable communities and shape humane responses to rapid technoscientific change.
