The research focuses on the intersection of technological innovation, sustainable development, and pedagogical advancement. A significant portion of the work addresses energy efficiency in buildings, specifically through the implementation of BACnet-based control systems to optimize HVAC operations and mitigate compressor start-up peaks, resulting in substantial economic and energy savings. Complementing this, the research explores the role of higher education in fostering sustainable development in rural communities. By leveraging power and energy engineering projects, academic institutions act as catalysts for local economic growth and community support. Furthermore, the research investigates pedagogical strategies in engineering education, particularly the use of robotics-based learning to enhance programming skills. Through quasi-experimental studies, the findings demonstrate that integrating emerging technologies like mobile robot platforms significantly improves student motivation and the comprehension of complex algorithmic strategies, highlighting the importance of teacher training in modernizing technical curricula.
