Research Interests

Recent research:
The author’s work integrates artificial intelligence with energy systems, emphasizing how AI-driven methods can transform energy markets, optimize resource integration, and support decarbonization. Across the publications, the research follows a coherent arc from analyzing AI and energy transitions through to practical deployments in power networks. Methodologies include bibliographic/data-driven reviews to map AI’s influence on energy supply chains, stochastic simulations for distributed generation and photovoltaic integration, and case studies of protective coordination, SCADA/telemanagement, and field deployments. The studies demonstrate tangible benefits of AI-enabled decision support for market design, energy balance visualization, regulatory alignment, and reliability improvements in smart grids. In addition, optimization and control techniques address grid reconfiguration, voltage/profile optimization, and fault analysis via advanced sequence-network methods. Collectively, the work highlights a trajectory toward intelligent energy systems where AI, IoT, and distributed generation co-evolve with policy and regulation to enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability in modern electrical grids.
