Research Interests

Recent research:
The consolidated work spans education, ethics, and governance, exploring how deontological principles shape professional practice across diverse fields—from university pedagogy and inclusion to special education, distance learning, and healthcare. Employing mixed methods (surveys, interviews, bibliographic analysis) and theoretical-ethical analysis, the publications examine how dialogue between reason and faith, critical thinking, and ethical codes influence graduation profiles, classroom strategies, and institutional policies. A recurring theme is the role of solidarity, responsible leadership, and ethics as drivers of quality education, social well-being, and public health, including telemedicine, eSports, and industrial/engineering ethics. The research demonstrates that deontology supports student development, professional integrity, and societal trust, while also addressing challenges such as access to education, pandemic-induced inequalities, and the ethical implications of technology (AI, IoT, XR) in learning and industry. Overall impact: providing actionable guidance for policy, curricula, and organizational culture that foregrounds ethics, responsibility, and inclusive education in Latin American and global contexts.
