Research Interests

Recent research:
The research focuses on sustainable environmental management, specifically addressing waste valorization, soil quality, and water resource protection. A significant portion of the work examines solid waste management systems, emphasizing the transition toward a circular economy through the recycling of aluminum, rubber, and organic materials. Investigations into urban waste characterization have highlighted the impact of health crises on waste composition and the necessity for improved separation and composting infrastructure. Furthermore, the research explores vermiculture as a viable method for processing organic waste, monitoring biological and chemical parameters to optimize earthworm growth and humus production. In the agricultural sector, studies have evaluated the influence of agrochemical inputs on soil health, specifically monitoring heavy metal concentrations in crops. Additionally, the research contributes to water resource management by integrating hydraulic design methodologies for treatment plants with epidemiological perspectives on water quality and disease prevention, bridging the gap between technical engineering and community-oriented environmental education.
