Research Interests

Recent research:
The research focuses on the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and advanced data analytics to address challenges in agriculture, health, and industrial safety. A significant portion of the work involves developing IoT-based monitoring systems for precision agriculture, specifically optimizing resource management in rose cultivation and cocoa production through real-time sensing of environmental and nutritional variables. These efforts are complemented by the design of robust communication networks and automated image-processing algorithms to enhance productivity and sustainability in rural and industrial settings. In the health and biomedical domain, the research explores the application of machine learning and deep learning for early seizure detection, musculoskeletal risk assessment in occupational environments, and the classification of physiological data. Furthermore, the work extends to human-machine interaction, including the design of multisensory driving assistance systems and the study of neurophysiological responses to audiovisual stimulation. Beyond technical implementation, the research addresses pedagogical innovation by proposing collaborative instructional design frameworks and formative assessment strategies in higher education, as well as methodological models for participatory technology policy development. Collectively, these studies demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach to solving complex operational and societal problems through technological innovation and evidence-based methodologies.

Key Topics:
  • IoT-based monitoring and automation
  • Precision agriculture and resource optimization
  • Machine learning and deep learning applications
