Research Interests
Across diverse applications, the author’s work centers on integrating intelligent control, IoT and data-driven methods to advance precision agriculture, urban digital transformation, smart grids, and reliable networked services. The abstracts reveal a coherent pattern: (1) deploying real-world, low-cost sensing and control solutions (fuzzy IoT controllers for high-altitude NFT hydroponics; MPPT-based PV irradiance estimation; real-time PAC fault detection) to enhance efficiency and resilience; (2) leveraging AI, ML, data analytics and digital twins to support smart city management, urban water systems and urban sensing; (3) examining economic and organizational dimensions of emerging technologies (business models for fog computing, IT platforms for CPE management, and IT-enabled road safety education); and (4) addressing security, interoperability and standards in IoT/edge environments, including semantic ontologies and blockchain-inspired governance. Methodologies span SLRs, experimental validation on low-cost hardware, real-time data processing, ML classifiers, optimization, and systematic literature reviews, all aimed at scalable, replicable, and cost-effective solutions for agriculture, urban infrastructure, energy, and telecommunications.
