Research Interests
The research focuses on the intersection of biomedical signal processing, assistive technology, and educational innovation. A significant portion of the work involves the analysis of electroencephalographic (EEG) signals, exploring digital filtering techniques, frequency distribution modeling, and the modulation of neural oscillations through audiovisual and binaural stimulation to enhance cognitive learning and attention. Complementing this, the research emphasizes the development of inclusive technological solutions, including robotic assistants and interactive devices designed to support physical and intellectual disability rehabilitation, as well as early childhood development. These technological interventions are integrated into pedagogical frameworks, utilizing STEM-based methodologies, serious games, and computer vision to bridge digital literacy gaps and promote autonomy. The work is characterized by a rigorous validation process, often involving expert consensus and pilot studies to ensure the clinical and educational feasibility of the proposed tools in diverse, real-world contexts.
Key Topics:
- EEG signal processing and analysis
- Assistive technology for disabilities
- Educational technology and STEM methodologies
- Neural modulation and cognitive learning
- Robotic assistants for therapy and rehabilitation
- Inclusive design and accessibility
