Research Interests
The body of work synthesizes the design, validation, and implementation of accessible virtual education within higher education, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance, inclusion, and measurement. Across the publications, the author(s) develop and validate self-assessment tools and frameworks to evaluate the accessibility and quality of virtual learning environments (VLEs), underpinned by psychometric validation, Multivocal Literature Reviews, and practical pilots in multiple higher education institutions. The studies respond to post-pandemic shifts toward online and blended learning by (i) establishing accessible-by-design evaluation models, (ii) articulating actionable guidelines and standards connecting organization, student body, teaching, and infrastructure, and (iii) demonstrating adaptability of frameworks to diverse institutional contexts. Collectively, the work advances SDG 4 by providing robust, evidence-based instruments for institutions to diagnose, improve, and sustain inclusive, high-quality virtual education. The methodological core spans educational technology, measurement, bibliometrics, and implementation science within real-world HEIs, highlighting practical impact for policy, practice, and research methods in educational settings.
