Research Interests
The research focuses on the optimization and sustainable transformation of electrical energy systems, with a strong emphasis on decarbonization and grid efficiency. A significant portion of the work involves the development of mathematical models and optimization algorithms—such as genetic algorithms, particle swarm optimization, and fuzzy logic—to enhance power system operation, including distribution network restoration, optimal power dispatch, and the integration of distributed generation. The studies also explore the technical and economic feasibility of renewable energy technologies, including photovoltaic systems, wind micro-generation, and hydrogen-based fuel cells, while addressing the challenges of energy demand forecasting and regulatory frameworks. Furthermore, the research extends to urban energy planning, where bibliometric and multivariate analyses are used to map trends in sustainability and decarbonization. Additionally, the work encompasses control systems engineering, specifically applied to the precision movement of prosthetic devices, demonstrating a broad application of numerical simulation and control theory in both industrial and biomedical contexts.
Key Topics:
- Power system optimization and grid planning
- Renewable energy integration and decarbonization
- Energy demand forecasting and management
- Control systems and numerical simulation
- Urban energy sustainability
- Hydrogen and fuel cell technology
