Personal profile
Research Interests
The researcher investigates advanced modulation and optimization strategies to improve power quality, grid integration, and renewable energy deployment, while also exploring urban energy systems and robotic/biomedical control applications. The work combines hybrid modulation techniques (SHE-PWM with PSO optimization) to reduce voltage THDv in multi-level inverters, and employs genetic algorithms and MINLP tools to optimize distribution reliability, DG placement, and contingency restoration in power systems. Several studies assess interdisciplinary themes—urban energy planning, decarbonization pathways, and the role of distributed generation—through systematic literature analysis, PCA and clustering, and scenario-based simulations. Additional contributions include fuzzy-logic MPPT controllers for hybrid renewable plants, designs for high-efficiency roadside PV/charging systems, and state-space modeling with PID/LQR/H∞ controllers for robotic/prosthetic applications. Collectively, the work advances practical optimization and control methodologies for reliable, sustainable, and decarbonized energy systems, with implications for policy-aligned urban planning and future energy infrastructure development.
