Recent research:
Across publications, the researcher advances a cohesive narrative at the intersection of education, technology, and organizational modernization within Salesian and Latin American higher education contexts. The work integrates prevention pedagogy rooted in St. John Bosco with educational technologies to foster inclusive, intercultural learning environments and student well-being, highlighting variances in scholarly output and the need for inter-institutional collaboration. It also analyzes neurology education across Latin America to identify curricular structures, admissions, and course content, emphasizing standardization, accessibility, and equity in specialist training amid a dynamic medical field. Complementing these themes, the research applies digital transformation and business process management (BPM) in higher education, illustrating how BPM can act as a catalyst for modernization, process visibility, and unified activities within Latin American institutions, showcased through participatory action research at the Salesian Polytechnic University in Ecuador. Together, these studies depict a profile focused on leveraging pedagogy, technology, and process governance to improve educational quality, equity, and organizational adaptability in response to evolving demands of education and health sectors.
